How to Make a Grillz Mold at Home (Mold Kit Guide)

Your mold (dental impression) is the most important part of your grillz: a clean, complete impression means a great fit. Always follow the instructions that come in your kit. These tips help you get it right the first time.

What is in the kit

• Top and bottom impression trays
• Molding material
• Step-by-step instructions
• A prepaid return label to send your mold back for free

Before you start

• Brush your teeth and rinse your mouth.
• Work in front of a mirror with clean hands.
• Read the kit instructions once from start to finish.

Making the impression

1. Prepare the material exactly as described in the kit.
2. Fill the tray evenly.
3. Center the tray over your teeth and press up (or down) evenly until the teeth you want covered are fully in the material.
4. Hold still without moving the tray until the material is set.
5. Remove carefully by loosening the tray gently, without twisting.

Sending it back

Pack the mold so it can’t be crushed, add your name and order number, and ship it back to Eman Grilzz with the prepaid return label that came in your kit. We make your grillz from it and ship them to you.
